Landscape Paintings
This year I decided to learn a new painting technique digitally - I wanted to be able to paint scenery without using too much line art, that's how this small project started. The process took a bit longer than my usual illustrations but the results were satisfying. Overall with this technique, I learnt to trust in process, it might look like blobs of ugly colour in the beginning, but as you fine tune it bit by bit, it starts to form a painting :)
I started off by blocking in large shapes and colours, and then worked from the overall big picture down to minor details. To challenge myself, I also painted everything on one layer. Overall it was a challenging process to get the colours and shapes right.

I enjoyed painting these, and I hope you enjoyed looking at them too :)
